Remember Sybaritic? I know at least some of you do! You’ve been asking about them ever since I took my early patterns down for a revamp. Well now they’re back and better than ever (new pictures, new charts, new layout, and an extra size).
I realize I likely shouldn’t be hopelessly smitten by leaves. They’re not hard to knit and don’t require too much special attention. But oh my are they awfully cute on this sock. The one on the top of the foot just about does me in every time. I suspect you’ll be fond of it, too.
For the re-release, they’ve been freshly knit in the always-delicious Caper Sock from String Theory. My love affair with String Theory is long standing and well documented, and Caper Sock was the perfect choice for these. The colors are just subtle enough to show off all your fancy stitches, but rich enough to be lovely all on their own.
And because I love you and want you to be happy, I’ve got a skein of Caper Sock in the color Melon to send off to one of you. Just leave a comment telling me how you feel about leafy knits for a chance to win.
Now I can’t send yarn home with all of you, but I can give everyone a bit of a discount. use the code LEAVES to get a dollar off the price between now and Friday. Just put Sybaritic in your ravelry cart, click on the ‘use a coupon code’ button, and type in the code LEAVES. You’ll see the change in price reflected right away.
Comments left between now and the end of the day (eastern time) Friday, May 22, 2015 will be entered to win. I’ll pick a winner, contact them to get their addresses, and arrange to send yarn their way. Be sure to use a real email address so I can contact you if you’ve won (I won’t do anything with those email addresses besides notify the winner). If I do email you, I need to hear back from you within 72 hours or I will pick a new winner and contact them. Sorry, but I can only ship physical prizes to US addresses.
