Rabble Rousers
It's up! My latest project, Rabble Rousers: What to Knit When You're Up to No Good, is now available for preorder. It's a collection of seven great accessories (two hats, two cowls, three cuffs). I've been calling it a mini book because it's smaller than one of the big books like The Knitter's Curiosity Cabinet, but quite a bit bigger than any of the individual patterns. Alrighty. As promised, details today, shiny new mini book tomorrow. But, because there are a couple of different ways to get the new project, I thought I'd come today and spell everything out now, just so we're all on the same page. Some time late tonight or very early tomorrow morning, Rabble Rousers will go up for preorders. Home
We're back home and, as predicted, the knitting aspirations were wildly overly optimistic. I didn't knit one single stitch. The second sock remains a neatly wound ball of yarn. I would feel bad about this if only I could muster the energy to care. At the moment, that's beyond me. But, this little knitting break is making me sort of twitchy, so I should be back to the needles soon. In the meantime, I'll be busy getting everything ready for the Rabble Rousers launch. The Order of Things
By this point, you guys know me. You know there is always a Plan. Now the details may change, and the specifics are sometimes a bit hazy, but the existence of the Plan is constant. The Plan keeps me on track. The Plan is how I know what the next 4 books will be. The Plan is all-knowing and all-powerful. But I also tend to keep the Plan private. Success
We had the photo shoot. I remembered to bring both the camera and all the knitting. No one died of heat stroke. We did not get arrested (opinions vary on whether we were, strictly speaking, allowed to be in that building at that time). All in all, the day was a rousing success.
