This lovely pattern is free for mailing list subscribers.
All you have to do is enter your name and email address in the form below. Then, and this is the important bit, go check your email. You’ll have a confirmation email from me. Click the button in that email to complete your subscription. About thirty minutes later, you’ll get an email with instructions on how to download the pattern (don’t panic, it’s coming, please be sure you’ve waited at least thirty minutes from when you hit the button in the confirmation email before you get worried…there are a bunch of moving pieces and they all need time to do their thing!).
This usually works very smoothly, but every now and then technology plays tricks with us. But I can help:
- If you don’t see your confirmation email or instruction email after about half an hour, check your spam or junk mail folders. You can also try whitelisting the email address the emails come from (there’s a guide on how to do that over here, the address you want to add is email@example.com).
- If thought you were already on the mailing list but don’t get the pattern when it came out (or if you can’t remember if you’re on the mailing list or not, or if you lost the instruction email), fill out the form. If you’re already on the list, it will say so and then it will send you an email with download instructions. If you’re not on the list, it will get you signed up and then send you the an email with download instructions.
- If you’re having trouble with the ravelry side of things, try copy/pasting your code here (instead of trying to get to the pattern from within ravelry or typing your code manually). Also be sure you didn’t include any spaces at the beginning or end of your code. If ravelry says your code has already been used (that can happen if someone makes a typo putting in their code and that typoed version happens to match up with your code), fill out the form again. It will tell you you’re already on the list, and then send you an email with another code in a little while.
One of those things takes care of about 99% of the troubles folks have, but if you’re still stuck, you can email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I’ll try to help. Please be sure to tell me what email address you used to sign up. We’ll get it sorted out!
