Well darn. That blue is just not quite right, now is it.⁠

I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely blue! And it will go on to do lovely, blueish sorts of things at some point in the future. But it does not currently want to do this particular thing. ⁠

Which is fine, I’ll have it out in just a minute. ⁠

But this is a point in favor of shopping for yarn in person when you can! Color is just always hard on a monitor (this is not the yarn store’s fault, it’s just a thing about how screens work, so seriously please do not be mad at yarn shops or dyers if it happens, I promise they hate it as much as you do, and why would you want to be mean to the folks who bring you so much joy).⁠

But fear not, I have a backup plan…
