Peregrinate

As promised, June is going to be all socks all month long.  The plan, (and holy smokes, it seems to be coming to fruition, we’re almost done!), is to do a sock every single Tuesday (and there are five Tuesdays this month!) so we can get a bunch of our old friends out of hibernation.  We started with Dippers, then Greenhorn, we did Enchase last week, and now it’s time for Peregrinate.

This is actually one where I had you folks decide for me which sock we’d do this week.  I asked on twitter and instagram if you wanted these or a lovely yellow pair.  And it was close, but these won in the end.  So now they, and all my other socks, are 20% off with code SO MANY SOCKS through the end of the month.

These are fun! You start out with a sweet little textured cable pattern on the leg. Then on the foot, the textured bit meanders over to the side (ending up over your big toes), leaving a field of purl stitches in its wake. I sort of love socks that do that on the foot…keeps me from getting distracted three inches from the toes and giving up (what, me, easily distractable by the next shiny object? never…).

The pattern is called Peregrinate and is up on both ravlery and payhip.  And you’ll find that the code SO MANY SOCKS will take 20% off any individual sock patterns or any sock books through the end of June! I know I have, um, rather a lot of patterns, so you can see the ones it will work for on either ravelry or payhip here.  (Oh, and I’m like 98% sure I managed to find all the socks, but holy wow do I have a whole bunch of them by this point, so if I managed to forget one and you find one the code doesn’t work on, let me know and I’ll fix it, but I think I got them all!)
