These do one of the niftiest pop up tricks I’ve ever seen in knitting. Seriously it’s way more fun than it should be.

That first picture shows what they look like when you’re done knitting them, the second one shows what they look like when you pop them into shape and get ready to stuff them.

There is no picture that shows the maniacal gleam of delight that I get in my eye every time I do the aforementioned popping into shape, because that would scare the more sensitive members of the audience and we cant have that.

But really though, I suspect more than one of you will mutter ‘sproing, sproing, sproing’ under your breath as you flip them about and they pop into shape. I can’t be the only one so afflicted…

Next month if all goes according to plan and I can stop knitting them at a reasonable number (all of you saying I need to knit a baker’s dozen need to show up for your court mandated volunteer knitting hours if you want that to happen, otherwise I think we’ll have to call it good with six).
