I’m pretty sure it’s the sprinkles that take these from donut adjacent to yes absolutely that’s a donut, no question about it.⁠

I like to use bugle beads, especially the opaque ones (yes, yes I did totally trim the translucent ones off the initial donut and replace them with these, no I’m not sorry). But you can also embroider them on (especially if you want to give this to a kid or a pet, the beads are probably not super safe for anyone prone to chewing on things). ⁠

But I’m fairly sure I’m past my putting inopportune things in my mouth phase and can probably be trusted around beads with only moderate supervision. ⁠
