Look, knit slippers are magic. They take so much less time than knit socks (you don’t have to do a leg…it’s just the foot…and you’re using thicker yarn so the foot doesn’t even take as long as a proper sock foot does). They’re unspeakably cozy (wear them by themselves or over socks…i may occasionally shove my slippered foot in my boots to check the mail in the winter). They’re easy to bring along and pop on in a hotel room or in a friend’s house when you don’t want to wear your filthy outside shoes inside (you know, when we go to friend’s houses again, someday). Plus they go together in a bunch of clever ways so you get to feel like a wizard while you knit them. I mean really, that’s a lot of nifty to jam into a fairly small project!
What’s going on? I’m doing a December countdown! Now through Christmas Eve, I’m putting one pattern a day on sale for 25% off. Each sale only runs one day (until 11:59pm eastern time), so grab it while you can. Each day’s sale is listed here on the blog, on instagram, and on twitter, so you can keep up with it wherever you like best (because wow am I not filling everyone’s inbox with email about this every day, I’m not a monster).
