I should do more socks with shaped arches. They’re just so pretty. They make your foot look all graceful and curvy and swoopy and not at all like a baked potato trying to hide its lumpen nature inside a casing of lovely knitting. I mean it helps if you can press someone with actual arches in their feet (instead of me, the flat footed wonder) into service as your model. But even on my feet, these end up looking far more delicate than you’d ever expect something of that size to pull off. Imagine how nice they’ll be on your feet (which are, I assure you, ever so much more delightful than mine)!
What’s going on? I’m doing a December countdown! Now through Christmas Eve, I’m putting one pattern a day on sale for 25% off. Each sale only runs one day (until 11:59pm eastern time), so grab it while you can. Each day’s sale is listed here on the blog, on instagram, and on twitter, so you can keep up with it wherever you like best (because wow am I not filling everyone’s inbox with email about this every day, I’m not a monster).
