Henceforth
As promised, a lovely pair of leafy mitts to go with the hat from earlier this month! Henceforth is out, and it continues to support my theory that knitted leaves are unspeakably charming.
No really, I don’t think I’ve ever met a knitted leaf I don’t like. Hats, mitts, cowls, they are just impossible to resist.
They are especially nice because you can often mirror them, which soothes the part of my brain that likes symmetry. That’s what I did here, and it’s subtle, but oh so satisfying.
And speaking of satisfying, those thumbs are rather special! If you’re looking for a bit of pleasant distraction, I suspect these might be just the thing.
The pattern is Henceforth. It (and the companion hat, Hitherto) is up on ravelry and payhip now. You can use the code ENTWINE to take 10% off the mitts through the end of the day, eastern time, Friday September 25 (or if you’re on the mailing list, check your inbox, you’ve got a bigger discount code there). Or if you like sets, you can get both pieces together at a discount (details on that are on the pattern pages on ravelry and payhip).
I’m going to drop everything that is on my needles now and cast these on. They are perfect. Just perfect.
(and yes, I need the matching hat and I will make a cowl to match).
I feel dumb, and I know you hate dumb questions, but what size needles? (Please don’t yell at me, I block my stuff, I swear!)
The short answer is ‘I can’t tell you, it depends on what yarn you’re using and what gauge you want to get.’ The longer answer is over here: https://pantsvillepress.com/questions/
