Hitherto
It’s possible there are knitters out there who hate knitted leaves. But I? I am not one of them. I am, in fact, unreasonably fond of the silly things. And Hitherto is a particularly lovely example of just how charming knitted leaves can be!
I feel like I should have more of a story to tell you about these. Like there should be some pretty stone wall in a secret clearing in the woods with beautiful cascading vines that turn gloriously bright every fall. But there’s really not.
There’s really just me, hopelessly enamored of knitted leaves and the tidy, orderly way they come together, knitting happily away.
But honestly, that’s ok. Sometimes you just make a thing because you’re pretty darn sure you’re going to love it. And this doesn’t disappoint!
The pattern is Hitherto, it’s up on ravelry and payhip, and you can use the code LEAFY to take 10% off through the end of the day, eastern time, Friday September 11 (or if you’re on the mailing list, check your inbox, you’ve got a bigger discount code there).
Love the leaves! How much yarn will one need to make both the hat and mitts?
Gorgeous! I’m with you on the leaf love.
Just fabulous, and this particular colourway is perfect!! Why did my parents not include talent in my genes?
I love your hats, but what I REALLY love is the tops of your hats! Gorgeous, as always.
