To those who wait
Someone needs to address the whole ‘my favorite hats are all fingering weight…fingering weight hats take forever to knit’ problem.
I suspect the solution is for me to develop more patience. Or for me to learn to love chunky hats more. But so far neither of those have come to pass.
And so on I go…teeny tiny stitch after teeny tiny stitch. This is why I don’t knit sweaters. Someone sneak in and finish this up while I’m napping. There’s hand sanitizer on the counter by the door.
Yes- I love wearing fingering weight hats, and I love knitting the first 2/3 of them. Then it gets so I’m ready to be done. Luckily somewhere I learned perseverance, otherwise my hats would be too short.
The trick is distraction. An audio book, knitting podcast or great music. I knit fingering weight sweaters so this definitely works for me!
Are fingering weight hats warm enough when the wind is howling?
