Alrighty…I know a lot of you are shockingly quick knitters (seriously, I’ve seen you turn out a pair of socks in a long weekend).  But socks are still a bit of an undertaking, so if you’re knitting them as presents, I want to make sure you’ve got plenty of time.  So we’ll start the countdown off with socks!  These work up fairly quickly (the pattern is simple enough you’ll have it memorized in no time), and it’s early in the month…you’re still unreasonably optimistic, right?  Right!
