The blue hat? The one I suspect I’m not alone in finding unreasonably amusing? Yeah, it’s all done.  Now clearly I need to block it.

And I need to get it a proper photo shoot.  (Can we talk about the snow? And how the snow is sort of messing with my plans in that regard? Could one of you maybe do something about that?  Think spring.  Think melt. You can do it!)

But the knitting bit is done (and pretty…I really really like this one).

And, happily enough, the pattern making bit is done too.  And that means it will be coming out here very very shortly.  Like next Tuesday.  (I hear from you guys that you don’t like to wait between seeing the projects and being able to get the patterns, so I’m trying to make those happen closer together…there are some practical difficulties with that, but I’ll see what I can do.)

The yarn is Silk Blend by Manos del Uruguay in Ice Melt (you’ll need two skeins…you want something like 250 yards of DK, more like 300 of fingering on hand to be safe) in case you want to go stash diving or yarn shopping now.
