Time out
No one likes yarn ramen.
This is in contrast to real ramen, which everyone with good taste dearly loves and eats whenever possible, preferably with a soy egg.
The slipper has been ripped way back and is in time out while I evaluate whether I want to fix it or ditch it (translation, cast it on with another yarn and see who wins my fickle affection). I’ll report back as events unfold. After I make some soy eggs…
I could be wrong but I think your kittens would find it fascinating.
Yarn (and string in general) is actually really dangerous for cats. If they eat it (which they are totally inclined to do), it can get bound up in their guts. It’s thousands of dollars of emergency surgery to try and save them…and it doesn’t always work. So around here, yarn and kittens aren’t allowed to mix.
