Fastest Decreases Ever
The rainbow sparkle pony is ready to be done.
It’s tall enough (no really, this is the One True Way to check hat height for fast decreasing hats…all stitches on two needles, hold the needles together, try it on…if it fits, it’s tall enough).
And as for those decreases? Well I think I’m going to do them like this!
Tell me I’m not crazy for trying it. It’s at the very least going to be amusing!
Clever!
I hope it works! I love this hat and especially the yarn. Whose yarn and where do you get it? What pattern?
I want to knit myself one!
Yarn is Lemonade Shop on etsy. No pattern really, it’s just a straight tube with ribbing at the bottom!
Three needle bind off or stacked decreases? I guess I’ll find out soon. The hat looks so cheerful.
I’m thinking kitchener!
Yup, I vote for grafting too. Although in another hat using a variegated yarn, a 3-needle bind off or (Oooh-ooh-ooh!) I-cord bind off in a contrasting/complimentary colour would look great too. (Dang! Now I think I need to go knit me a hat.)
What fun hat origami!
Yes! Can’t wait to see this finished…
Love the Kitchener idea!
I adore this!!!
are you going to add a pom pom?
