Second hat, underway!

In the end, I decided I wanted to do something a little different from either of the swatches.  I think it’s going to work out very nicely indeed.  I’ll get back to you in a few more rows when it starts to joggle back the other way.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m doing something scandalous and taking the weekend off.  But come Tuesday morning, I’ll be bringing out that lovely gray and purple hat and mitts set I’m so taken with. I promise lots of proper photos of them then (and none of my feet), but for now I thought I’d stick with one that shows that both I and the knitting were racing the tide on the photoshoot for this one…a few minutes later and that rock was totally underwater!
