As predicted, a bit of time tucked up at home with the sock was just the ticket. First it was very nearly a sock.
Then it was quite definitely a sock.
Now all it needs is a mate. It’s anyone’s guess when that will happen. I’ll likely need a few more long weekends!
this is a very elegant. Any chance it could be available to knit in the fall?
I’ll volunteer for test knits!
It will come out, but not that soon. Looks like some time around March/April of 2017 (that’s an estimate, not a cast in stone promise, it could shift, but it’s unlikely to shift earlier).
Update on pattern availability? lovely sock!
They came out years and years ago. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tantamount-2
Love it!
I’ll take it whenever!
This is beautiful and subtle. Would be very hard to wear long pants and cover them up. I too would test knit.
One of the prettiest of your designs I’ve seen. Finish that puppy, please! ;o)
I have the perfect yarn for this sock. Can’t wait until you publish it. Do you need another test knitter? I usually do magic loop.
Testing will be announced over here when it opens later this year (and there’s a signup link at the top of the page if you want a heads up when it gets listed for testing)!
*la sigh* Another gorgeous stunning but cuff down sock design. I was going to ask for a link to the pattern, as this is just about tempting enough to lure me over to the dark side of sock construction, but I see that it’s yet to be released. So it looks like I can stay firmly on my side of the fence of sock construction (toe up rules!)
Hah! Folks do seem to fall quite firmly in one camp or the other don’t they. Though, if one were to have a good grasp of how toe up socks went together (something that remains a mystery to me I confess), these would be pretty darn easy to flip upside down. You know, in case you need more temptation!
Is the pattern for these socks available yet?
Yes, it came out years ago! https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tantamount-2 You can always find my currently available patterns by clicking on the pattern link in the menu at the top of the screen.
