Slouch
The second mitt is done (well, they need thumbs, but done enough to try on and admire).
I’m loving how slouchy they are. I made them a bit bigger than I normally would for a cuff (no negative ease, pretty much exactly my wrist circumference), and between that and the big, deep cable they are delightfully slouchy. I mean you could keep them tugged out and straight, but left to their own devices, they will crumple up perfectly.
I think it goes beautifully with the hat, which is quite slouchy too. Actually, I think I owe you a picture of the top of the hat. Pretty nifty, hmm?
I LOVE the top of this hat! : )
Want, Want, Want !!! When can we see a pattern?
Some time next year! I still have to finish up the mitts, write & edit the pattern, and get photos. But with any luck at all, it will be out late this winter!
I love a pretty set of crown decreases. 🙂
Cables. Purple. Slouchy. Love!
Those cables are soooo pretty.
Those cables are soooo pretty. It is like having two good decisions…you look at it this way and that way…
Ooooh, I do like that. Both the cables and the yarn. Yum.
What a very elegant tip-top for the hat. Lovely!
Ooh, pretty!
