You know what this means don’t you?
(Well yes, yes it does mean my entire front yard is covered in a foot of snow and is a featureless, frigid whiteout of despair…but that’s not exactly what I had in mind…look at the yarn instead of the background.) It means it’s almost photo shoot time.
The next photo shoot is in early April, and these are all the yarns I’ve used in it. Running top to bottom we’ve got Bare Naked Wools, Vice, Quince, SweetGeorgia, Frog Tree, Phydeaux, Elemental Effects, Alchemy, Blue Moon Fiber Arts, Manos, Uncommon Thread, Lorna’s Laces, Anzula, Shibui, and Mrs. Crosby.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some projects to block. I think this one is going to be a ridiculous amount of fun. Which one are you most curious to see more of?
the top 5 : )
Bwahaha…since I think you got see some of those bottom ones before I did!
I’m in love with bare naked wools right now, I can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with!!!
Frog Tree, Phydeaux and Mrs Crosby are new to me. Love to see how they knit up. That Phydeaux especially has an interesting texture to it. But actually, they are all such lovely pastels, I am looking forward to seeing them all.
Elemental Effects, Uncommon Threads, Anzula, Shibui and Bare Naked Wools. Love the colors you have chosen!
What a lovely palette! The blues and purples are calling to me…
In order of appearance, my thoughts are:
…Ooh, color!
…that this isn’t the grey book
…that I didn’t even notice the snowy yard for the yarn {followed by hilariously-funny-only-to-me laughter, which my husband couldn’t understand even after I tried to explain it to him}
…all of them, of course. 🙂 Though I do particularly love the teal, purple, and yellow that you have there. 🙂
Ah, no. Not gray! So, this book will (barring anything really excitingly unexpected) be out late this year. It’s not a curls book. The gray book will (again, barring anything weird) be out next year, and it’s all curls!
And yeah…yeah I sort of do have the next, um, 3-5 books planned. They have an astonishingly long timeline, and I’m usually working on several at once!
I’m liking 5, 7, & 8 (Frog Tree, Elemental Effects, and Alchemy)!
Blue, purple, and yellow! Love the palette, very pretty. Almost weird not to see a bright orange in there.
