Pattern Spotlight and Yarn Giveaway
The last time we did this was so much fun, I can’t help but do it again! I happen to have a bit more yarn from KCC3 to give away, and I think you’re going to love it.
This time it’s the Bunodes crassicornis projects in Malabrigo’s delicious yarns.
That’s Arroyo on the socks, and Rios on the hat. I’ve got two extra skeins of the Rios (in the color used in the book), and I’d like to send them off to two of you. I like having two ways to win, so let’s do it again, shall we?
For the first chance to win, leave a comment on this post telling me what you love about Malabrigo’s yarns. Is it their super soft bases? Their beautiful colors? The way they tempt you from across the yarn store? There’s no right answer, just tell your story (and if you haven’t worked with it yet, that’s ok too)!
For the second chance to win, pin the picture in this post to your pinterest boards. To do that, you can either click the pinterest button at the top of the post (it’s red and looks like a p) or you can click on the ‘Pin it’ button that comes up when you hover your mouse over the picture itself. Just be sure you’re pinning the picture from this post.
Comments left and pins made between now and the end of the day (eastern time) Monday, June 30, 2014 will be entered to win. I’ll pick winners, contact them to get their addresses, and arrange to send the yarn their way. If you’re leaving a comment, be sure to use a real email address so I can contact you if you’ve won (I won’t do anything with those email addresses besides notify the winner). If you win by pinning, I’ll leave a comment on your pin letting you know you’ve won. If I do get in touch with you, I need to hear back from you within 72 hours or I will pick a new winner and contact them. Sorry, but I can only send prizes to US addresses.
P.S. The winners have been notified and prizes are on their way!
The softness and the depth of color!
I love the softness of the yarn. It doesn’t feel itchy so it’s great for knitting things that will be worn against your skin.
I love the way it feels when I am knitting it.
I like Malabrigos Yarn because of the unique colors

I like the colors of the yarns.
Just love the colors!
Of course the colors are amazing, but being machine washable makes it perfect for gift items.
The colors are great!
I love the beautiful colors, and I also love that considering the quality of the yarn, their price points are remarkably reasonable.
I have use Malibrigo only once. It was gifted to me and I loved knitting with it. The color was fabulous and it has to be one of the softest yarns I used. I would really like to knit with the yarns that you used in KCC3. Thanks Hunter for the opportunity to win a skein of Malibrigo.

What do I love about Malabrigo? Well, pretty much everything. If I had to pick my favorite thing though, it would be the colors. They are just gorgeous!
Want to use it for the first time!
I love that they are not solid colors, but a subtle mix of hues. I always seem to buy two skeins of colors that harmonize, and then I have to find a pattern to use them together.
Everything seems like too broad of an answer. The way it feels as you knit it would be high on my list.
The buttery softness!
perhaps it is the Pheromones that gets me! in the yarn of course. 🙂
I love Malabrigo. I am excited to start the KAL. Plus I Pinterested to my beautiful socks board.
The deep rich color gets me every time! Thanks for the chance to win some beautiful yarn.:.)
The softness is incredible!
