Round and Round
While I was sitting home watching the hurricane, the lovely Kathreen, mastermind behind the always delightful Whipup, put up a little tutorial I’d written for her a few weeks ago. I was a shamefully bad blogger and totally forgot to tell you guys (I wish I could blame something dramatic like downed trees or power outages, but it really was just me being inattentive). It’s an explanation of how to swatch in the round, which is a handy little trick that anyone who knits in the round should have up their sleeve. Head over and give it a look before you start your next project!
What a great trick! Thanks for sharing.
Also, this is totally off topic but I have a question for you. I have the really beautiful, but highly variegated yarn that I was hoping to use for socks. Are any of your patterns good for that? I have all of your books, but none of your individual patterns right now. I was thinking that Mashad might work well, but I’m not sure. Any thoughts?
Hey Maggie, from the books, I’d say Afshari works really well with crazy yarn. From the individuals, I’d say Rampant and Whippersnapper play well with colors. Hope one of those works!
You are so very clever!!
