Step 1, Show Off the Knitting
I’m off to hang out with the Northcoast Knitting Guild tonight at 7. Now, if I let myself think about this, it would make me nervous. It’s not that I mind standing up and talking in front of people. That’s actually totally ok. It’s that I don’t really think I have anything all that interesting to say. So I’ve sweet talked them into not doing an official talk. Instead we’ll just hang out and chat. And, because knitters are a great audience for knitting, I’m bringing some projects from the books (including a few ones from KCC2 that have never been seen before) to distract everyone if I get too boring. So, if you’re in the area and want to drop by and visit, you’re very welcome (you needn’t be a member to come).
Good Morning to you!
I just found your web site through the Rabble Rousers giveaway that someone is doing. Your patterns are just gorgeous!
I saw that you published a book last year called Silk Road Socks, but I can’t find that book anywhere. Would you please tell me how I can get that book? Thank you so much!
Linda
Hi Linda, Silk Road Socks is all sold out in paper form, but if you click on the cover (over there on the right of this page under Rabble Rousers and Knitter’s Curiosity Cabinet), you can still get the eversion.
I’m sure the evening will be great! have fun! Sometimes I wish I was a bit closer – but then I think about your winters and I unwish it. : )
Hunter, it was awesome. The members loved you and learned so much about what an intrepid knitter can accomplish. Truly inspiring!
