Helper Cat, Part II
Having seen Levon’s efforts to aid household order as in the previous post, Barry decided to get in the action too. He absolutely refused to leave the socks alone so I could get a picture of them. Instead, he sat beside them. He patted them with his paw. He laid on them. He generally made it clear that I was supposed to be taking a picture of him and not of something as inconsequential as a silly sock.
So here he is, expressing his displeasure that I’m still putting socks in what should clearly be a picture just of him. Hopefully this will serve as proof of knitting for the moment. The Boy and I will troop outside this weekend and see if we can get some proper pictures. With any luck at all, the pattern should be out the middle of next week.
Don’t forget, today is the last day to leave a comment to be entered to win Suzan’s lovely green yarn.
I like to know I’m not the only one with a pet that seems to think they are Britney Spears. I must admit, he is very pretty…..but then, so are the socks. 🙂
What a cutie!!
Well, of course he wants in on the action. They are both adorable and obviously card-carrying members of the Help Mom Society of Cats (HMSoc).
Cats do this exact same thing with quilts. I’ve never seen a photo of a quilt laid out that didn’t have a cat on it (if there were cats in the house, of course.) I want to be a cat someday so I can figure out exactly how they know to lay down on precisely what you’d like them to not be on.
