This is what ‘the middle’ of my projects always looks like.  Please note that I am one of those overly-organized souls who feels that books should be lined up on the shelf with a ruler (and yes, I have a special ruler just for this job).  Left to my own devices, my desk holds only my computer and a lamp at the end of the day.  Anything else just doesn’t belong.

So it is with great relief that I now report that my desk is once again pristine.  I handed in the giant project earlier this afternoon.  I spent the next hour putting my office to rights.  Then I sat down to bask in the glory and promptly fell asleep.  I awoke to find Barry and Levon curled up on my lap.  I took it as a sign that a longer nap was in order, so grabbed a blanket and went back to sleep.  Apparently I was a bit tired.

Now that that’s over with, I might actually be able to get back to knitting.  I know it’s been a shamefully long time since I had a post with actual yarn in it.  I’ll do my best to remedy that shortly.  Right after I take one more nap.
