Futile
Resistance is futile I tell you, futile. I tried. I really did. I gave myself lectures on fiscal responsibility and practicality and not buying things I don’t really need and general all around adult type behavior. Then I succumbed to temptation and bought it anyways.
How could I not…the awesomeness was overwhelming. I’ll call it supplies for my upcoming knitting-centered excursions. Not only did I feel moved to buy it, but I feel compelled to tell you that you too can get one right here.
(And now I also feel bound to tell you that this is not my picture, it’s theirs. I asked if I could use it, then I asked again. I got no answer. I’m not hotlinking it, so I’m not abusing their bandwidth. I’ve also set the picture up so it’s a link to the product, thus hopefully sending potential customers their way. If the picture is yours and you want me to take it down, get in touch and I will.)
I’ve been telling myself ‘no’ firmly and repeatedly but I’m pretty sure I’m gong to lose. It’s just too awesome to resist.
Oh now really, of all the indulgences you could grant yourself, isn’t a knitting pattern fairly harmless? The chances of getting arrested, making the evening news, or even getting a social disease are pretty darn low. It might even be a demonstration of responsibility and good planning!
