Short Attention Span
Published On: September 14, 2011

The painters are still banging.  Now please don’t get me wrong, they’re doing a good job, and they’re doing a job I don’t want to do.  I’m very glad that they’re here and scampering over the roof.  But oh my poor pulverized brains is it loud.

It has rather dramatically cropped my already short attention span.

But in a totally uncharacteristic move, I’ve taken the crazy and done something with it (other than whine).

I took the three scraps seen here the other day and have turned them into three different quick little mitts.  And they are all different.  Different colors sure, but different shapes, different constructions, and different textures too.  Each one took no more than a day to knit (each individual mitt that is, though if you were a quick knitter or in a house not doubling as a drum set you could likely bang out a whole pair in one day).

Perhaps you can tell from the fact that I have three individual mitts and no pairs yet that I’m still a bit scattered.  But I’ve been assured the painting is almost done, so I may soon have the ability to finish something.
